I had no idea that there was a mixt location just 2 blocks away from my office. You can order from their app for delivery or pickup and get $5 off for your next order. I ordered their fixed items since I'm lazy but you can have your favorite bowl with the DYO option Great stop if you work in FiDi and want a healthy option - Harvest Salad with Grilled Chicken: my most favorite bowl with all of my favorite mixture. (Mixt greens, grilled chicken, candied pecans, roasted butternut squash, apples, blue cheese, savory herbs, pomegranate vinaigrette) - Napa w/Chicken sandwich: fresh and tasty with apple and chicken. (grilled chicken, sliced apples, sharp cheddar, basil pesto, arugula, aioli, on a torpedo roll) - Pacifica with Grilled Flat Iron Steak: a bit heavier than the other two options but still feel good having it (right rice & cabbage, steak, cotija cheese, toasted pumpkin seeds, cherry tomatoes, black beans, fresh herbs, cilantro jalapeños vinaigrette with a chipotle honey drizzle)

MIXT is definitely premium salad. I don't know what justifies such high prices, but I can definitely appreciate the quality they bring when somebody else is footing the bill. I've had them a few times in the Financial District during work and gotten a few different varieties. I do like how fresh the greens are, and the meat is definitely fresh and seasoned well.

I don't like the noise when they make the salads. It's very loud when you have five guys shaking and mixing ingredients in steel bowls all at once. I think I'll stick to ordering my bowls online so I can just run in and out. This location is basically the same size as Oakland's... but it's in San Francisco! Soo don't come right at lunchtime, it can be claustrophobic. Actually, it might be a smidge smaller than Oakland's.... so yeah, don't come righht at noon! Save your nerves. Got a bachelor salad again, but with the dressing mixed in. The meat and potatoes got mixed right in too so they weren't warm like I had at the other location. Maybe there is a real difference between having it done in front of you and ordering ahead of time online! Either way, glad there's a healthy spot deep in the busy financial district if you need one!

I love this place.! The employees are very friendly (particularly at this location) They know me by name and know what I order. If you are ever unsure of what you want to eat, ask them for suggestions. They are the salad experts and have a salad for just about anyone. The cashiers are also friendly and always in a good mood which makes my experience a pleasant one. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. If you are looking to beat the lunch rush, get your salad early in the morning or after 1pm. I never have to wait for my lunch Thanks Daniel, Emma, Marcelo and the entire team.

After working in FiDi for a couple of months now I finally made it in to try Mixt to see what all the long lines for salad were about. At Mixt I believe $15 for a salad topped with chicken is worth it. Yes, I said it. I am hooked and come here weekly now for my own concoction of Kale and quinoa base topped with chicken, light siracha ranch dressing, bread crumbs, Brussel sprouts, squash, white noodles and corn. It's absolute perfect hearty salad chemistry that makes me feel as if I'm eating something really healthy. Pros: Amazingly delicious and hearty salads Cons: Long lines, the guys who take your order make you feel rushed, they do for me at least as I tend to stand there and stare blankly n wide eyed at the menu despite getting the same thing every time :p Bottom line: Hearty salads that make spending a lot on a salad for lunch worth it

New Year's is two weeks away, but I was so eager to wait in line for a delicious salad. I tried many different lunch styles in each of my previous visits. It's about time I aim to consume mostly greens. Not an entree; just a light snack. Here in MIXT, I took a rare opportunity to try this place out. I had been interested in buying me a huge salad prepped in a clear recyclable container. Lines weren't too long so they moved quickly to order theirs. After I chose "Be Well" from the salad menu, I still had to select which ingredients go into the first worker's steel bowl. On the other hand, it's better for me to quickly say "no eggs"; otherwise, my "Be Well" salad turned out not well to me. My salad must be absolutely vegan made with supergreens and plant based proteins, nothing else. I saw how the first worker stir the salad rapidly like a centrifuge, dropping few bits of quinoa and lentils. Nothing's fancy, so all it takes was to get the job done. With a free cup of cucumber water, I rather eat inside since the weather is chilly outside. Love the vegetal and nutty flavors in my salad! Takes a lot of chewing with grains and all. The cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette had a little spicy kick to it. After finishing the whole salad, I started to have a lingering green onion after taste. I would like to smile, but I forget to ask for a toothpick since I had some greens stuck in the back of my teeth. Anyways, "Be Well" is truly a healthier choice. I would be glad to come back for a same salad if I feel like it.
